  1. License Agreement for Apirc v1.1.

  3. It concerns the applet classes, not the relay that remains in public
  4. domain. Please read the following terms and conditions before using
  5. this software.

  7. You may install Apirc freely if:
  8. --------------------------------
  9.  - You are a home user.
  10.  - You work for a non-commercial educational institution.
  11.  - You administrate an IRC serveur member of the Franet irc network.
  12.  - You work for a non-profit organisation, excluding government agencies.
  13.  
  14. Otherwise, you must get a license.
  15. ----------------------------------
  16. A fee of USD 12.- (or FF 60.-) is required to get the license, after an
  17. evaluation period of 30 days. Please send it to:
  18.  IdNet / 13-15 H Boulevard Joffre / F-54000 Nancy / France.
  19. You will receive the license in two weeks. This license covers as many
  20. installations as wanted for the same domain name web server, subdomains
  21. excepted. Payment can be made by International Money Order, cash in a
  22. registered letter, or french national check. Other national checks and
  23. Eurochecks are not accepted. For EU countries except France, we must
  24. know your company VAT Number.

  26. Disclaimer of Warranty

  28. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  29. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  30. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. 
  31. Because of the various hardware and software environments into 
  32. which Apirc may be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
  33. PURPOSE IS OFFERED.

  35. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  36. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
  37. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.

  39. Governing Law

  41. This agreement shall be governed by the laws in France.

  43. Distribution

  45. You are hereby granted to make as many copies of the Apirc
  46. software as you wish, archieve it on public ftp or web server,
  47. provided that exact copies of the original software are given
  48. in unmodified form via electronic means. There is no charge
  49. for any of the above.

  51. You are prohibited from charging or requesting donations for any
  52. such copies. If delivered on CDROM or disquette, a reasonable fee
  53. may be asked for the physical media, plus any delivery costs.
